PUBLIC NOTICE: PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF KEI APPLE ROAD BETWEEN KLOOF ROAD AND QUENDON ROAD

Notice is hereby given in terms of the City of Cape Town Immovable Property
By-law, 2015 that members of the public are given an opportunity to comment on the proposed temporary road closure of Kei Apple Road between Kloof Road and Quendon Road to accommodate the construction activities related to a private construction development on Erf 216 and Erf 259 Sea Point at 19 and 22 Kei Apple Road.

A temporary road closure for a period of five months, from 1 August 2022 to
31 December 2022 (or until construction is completed), is proposed. Traffic will be detoured via Quendon Road, Kings Road and Church Road.

Opportunity to comment

In terms of section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, the public and interested parties or groups may submit comments, recommendations or input to the municipality from Monday 30 May 2022 to Thursday 30 June 2022.
